Show up anyways.

​Today I am going to be honest, open, and raw.

Life can be really tough. Finding a balance for your family, kids, work, and then maybe yourself is not easy. I am starting to realize that there is no shame in being honest. Theres is no shame in being vulnerable. It is the beauty of being human. 

​So much time and effort goes into this job. From the time you book your session to the time I deliver your gallery, I will have put countless hours into your pictures. I spend days location scouting, finding inspiration, observing light, checking the weather, studying my camera, uploading, culling, editing, styling, researching. Of course I do all this with spit up on my shirt, dog hair on my pants, messy hair, and endless amounts of caffeine, all while the laundry piles up. 

Why?

​Because I want to give you more than pictures. I want to give you an experience. When you look at your images, I want you to remember how special that time in your life was. Even if it was hard, I want you to look at pictures that allow you to remember the hard times and the struggles, but focus on the beauty of it all. 

​So please, don't wait until you have the perfect outfit, or enough money, or more time. Just make it happen. Because you will want to remember these times for exactly what they are.
